When the beam of sunlight penetrated through the glass pane early in the morning and fell on Leo’s face, he twitched his eyebrows in disappointment and flipped to the other side. Slowly, he opened his eyes, blinked twice, and closed it back.
“What the hell? Why am I seeing him?” thinking he winced and opened his eyes wide.
Seeing Zaiden sitting in front of him, he got up at once in shock. Zaiden was staring at him and he didn't bother to move his gaze even after Leo got up.
“What… What are you doing here?” Leo stammered rubbing his forehead.
Nonchalantly, Zaiden got on his feet. “Now you are awake I am leaving. Meet me at the airport in an hour.”
“What? Why should I meet you?” Leo questioned, raising his head and glancing at him.
Zaiden bent and took his face close to him. Then in a cold tone, he said, “because we are flying to Hawaii today, Mr. Bodyguard.”
Looking away, he replied, “No, we, it’s only you. I am not…”
Zaiden gripped his chin and turned his face towards him. “I have packed your luggage and your tailored suit is kept in the washroom.”
“What? I told you I am not…”
Ignoring his words, Zaiden made his way out of the room.
“Hey! You! I am talking to you. Stop!” Leo jumped down from the bed and ran after him.
“Zany!” he yelled standing outside his bedroom.
Zaiden came to halt and turned towards him. Seeing his cold expression, Leo gulped hard regretting.
“I…” Zaiden was about to speak out but he paused. Tucking his hand on his pocket he resumed, “just forget it. Remember in an hour we are flying to Hawaii.”
“I told you I am not…” before Leo could speak his full sentence Zaiden exited from his apartment. Staring at the closed door, he mumbled his unsaid words, “not going with you.”
Inhaling deeply, he muttered to himself, “Is he a leech? Why is he so clingy?”
“Woah!” suddenly he exclaimed looking around. “Where am I? Whose apartment I am in? This doesn’t look like my apartment.”
He scratched his head looking around the clean and well-managed apartment.
“Did Eden come and did the cleaning?” he mused.
Shaking his head right to left he murmured again, “no, she is never into this cleaning and all. We have been in a relationship for over six months. She had never done this so there is no chance at all.”
“Then how the hell did it get well organized and cleaned?” running his fingers between his hair, he walked back to his bedroom.
He dropped on his bed and reached out for his cell phone. Then dialing Eden’s number he waited for her to answer. But she didn’t pick it up. Only after numerous attempts, she answered.
“What do you want?” she retorted soon after she was online.
“Eden, I am sorry, babe. Are you still mad at me? Please don’t do this. You know I love you,” he tried to persuade her with his surgery word.
“Go to hell. This relationship is over. I had made it clear yesterday only. So stop bothering me.”
“But, babe…” the call was already hung up by Eden.
He stared at the blank screen absently for a while and tossed the phone aside. Rubbing his forehead in anxiety, he scanned around his bedroom.
His messy room was all cleaned and well managed. He was still not able to figure out who had done it.
“Could it be possible that he...?” hastily, shaking his head right to left refusing to agree to himself. “No, no that is not possible. A superstar like him would never do this cleaning and all. I bet he has numerous maids around to do his chores so why would he… clean my...”
He paused as he got the glimpse of a coat placed on the couch. Getting on his feet, he marched towards the couch and dropped on it. Then gently he grabbed the coat, recalling the moment Zaiden handed it to him.
Rubbing his forehead, he strolled his eyes around and the moment he saw his shoes, he recalled about the previous night.
“Hey! You need to wash your feet. It stinks,” Zaiden said, kicking his butt.
“Ah! Zany! Let me sleep!” Leo grumbled in annoyance.
“Wake up and wash your feet. It is really stinking,” Zaiden’s voice turned cold.
“What is with you?” As Leo turned towards Zaiden he started to laugh. “Why are you clipping your nose with Eden’s hair clip? Hahaha!”
“Stop it! Go and wash your feet,” he commanded.
“No, I won’t. Just leave me alone, Zany!” he shouted.
Zaiden sighed heavily and marched to the washroom. After a while, he came out holding a bucket and placed it in front of the bed. He then pulled Leo and made him sit on the edge of the bed.
“What are you doing?” Leo grumbled dozing.
“Let me wash your feet,” he said, gently lifting his left leg and dipping it inside the bucket.
But Leo winced and kicked the bucket.
“This is fuckin cold, man. Are you trying to freeze me?” he roared and dropped on the bed, hanging his leg off the bed.
Zaiden didn’t say a word and carrying the bucket got back to the washroom. After some time he came back with a bucket of lukewarm water.
When Leo’s feet were dipped on it, he sighed whining, “Woah! Feels heavenly.”
After his feet were cleaned, Leo was tossed back on the bed gently. Blinking his eyes for some time, he got the blur vision of Zaiden mopping the floor and managing his room.
Suddenly Leo got up at once. He glanced at his coat murmuring, “He cleaned my room. Not only that, he even cleaned my feet.” He looked down at his feet.
He walked to the window and darted outside. The clear day with a cold breeze blowing around gave bliss to his heart. Just a while ago he was sure that he had no thought of joining his job again but recalling the things Zaiden had done for him, he was having doubts about his decision.

Sitting at the airport, Zaiden was staring at the hair clip that had saved him from the cheesy smile drifting around the air the other day.
“This must be his girlfriend,” he mused.
Then clenching the clip on his fist, he wondered, “if he had a girlfriend then why was his apartment all in mess? His place looked nothing like a place where a girl would reside. Yeah, maybe he already had his break up and she had left her things behind. But…”
Hitting his head with his fist murmured, “but Kai said that he had heard his girlfriend shouting at him yesterday. What is exactly…”
“Zaiden…” Kai called out, placing his hand on his shoulder.
Wincing, Zaiden raised his head and glanced at him. “Hm!”
“Are you sure he is coming? We need to take off in ten minutes.”
He nodded.
“What does that mean?” Kai raised his brows in confusion.
“He will be here, don't worry,” Zaiden said, looking around the airport area.
He was hoping that Leo would show up but time was ticking and there was no sign of him. After waiting for more than an hour, Zaiden finally lost all his patience.
With his heavy heart, he got on his feet instructing, “let’s leave.”
