With a sudden jerk, Leo got up from his deep sleep. His heartbeat was throbbing loudly against his chest and his breath was getting heavier.
He reached out for the switch and turned on the bedside lamp. Then, turning his head towards the empty side of the bed, slowly he caressed the bedding feeling his heart grow heavier.
‘If only he was here to cuddle me,’ he mused.
