“Leo! No! No, you cannot say that…'' he started to cry out loud. “Leo… Leo!” he called out, but there was no answer from his side.
Tumbling down from the bed, he sat helplessly on the floor and kept on shedding tears.
Crouching by his side, Kai tried to comfort him. “Zaiden, calm down.”
“I cannot… I just cannot!” he said, covering his face with his hand. Then in a quivering voice, he murmured, “I cannot calm down. He… he said I might not see him again. I… I cannot take that. Kai… I am suffocating. I want him back. I cannot live without him.”
Seeing the agitation of Zaiden, Antony and Kai were both moved. He was like a fish struggling to breathe on the land. If Leo knew about it, then he would feel guilty his whole life for making him suffer in that way.
