~ MAIA’s POV ~ The first thing I did as soon as I got back from Upstate New York was buying a bunch of postcards and letter stationaries, and then sending a letter out to Hunter. It went something like this: Dear Hunter, As you can probably tell from the sender section, this is my new address now. Yup, I moved into the apartment building with that guy that likes to eat his toothpaste! Anyway, the rent here is way cheaper, so I’m not complaining. I also got a job teaching dance to little girls on the side, so that’s good. I’m trying to be as independent as I can, so I don’t want to take money from my mom or from anyone else. It’s been tough, but a very grounding experience. Also, living in New York City without you is WAY more difficult than I thought, but I hope you’d be proud
