“Did you just say yes?” I asked him again to be sure.
He swallowed hard and shrugged as a response. I couldn’t help the smile forming on my lips. I didn’t think Hunter was going to go for it. He was always the responsible type. I was just messing with him. But he actually said yes. I really wasn’t expecting that. Now I was a little caught off guard.
“Wait, so we’re really doing this?” I repeated my redundancy.
