~ HUNTER’s POV ~
“Hey, guys. Sorry I’m late,” I said as I rushed into the library, taking a seat in front of Jess and Liam. They watched me with a bored glare as I was panting and haphazardly taking out my books from my bag.
“It’s so unlike you to be late and not call us,” Jess commented.
“I know, I know. I’m sorry,” I sighed.
It was ten in the morning and I was supposed to meet them half an hour ago to work on our group project. Normally, morning meetings wouldn’t be an issue, but after the late night event that transpired with Maia last night, I slept like a pig and woke up only twenty minutes ago.
