I heard the door open behind me and I knew it had to be him. He was the only one missing. I was actually surprised I wasn’t asked to leave right off the bat and took that as a good sign. He passed by me and I inhaled. He had the same ancient smell combined with key lime pie as he always had, but it had changed. He had that underlying musky scent of werewolf now.
