Adrien shook me awake about 30 minutes away from the packgrounds. I can’t believe I slept for almost 20 hours. I didn’t even see how many shifters were rescued or if anyone else got hurt.
You lost a lot of blood. That takes time to heal – Dario said and I could tell he was tired and a little annoyed that I wasn’t appreciative of his work.
I know buddy. I’m sorry. That would have taken me a couple of weeks to heal by myself. – I said soothingly and he wagged his tail before he curled up and went to sleep in the back of my mind.
I looked ahead and noticed that Helios was awake. ‘How did everyone make out? How many shifters did we find?’ I asked him. I would need to do an intake of everything for our report to the council.
