In the midnight pack, Arthur anticipates the arrival of Owen and the group. Worried about his son and his safety and the fact that the future luna has gone. They are the closest pack to the Orion border, so he has the most pressure on him. He looks down the ranks at all the warriors set to defend. He is the only one in the first line of defense without a vest, but he doesn’t mind, he wanted his pack to be covered before him.
Arthur and his men are not particularly close to the border. Arthur is not willing to go anywhere close to the landmine area, knowing full well that they are now active. He wants to draw invaders into the pack. Usually, that would not be the way he'd play things, but with the extra weapons it is the safer way.
