The days pass as everything that happened finally comes to a head. Demitri and I are officially running things in Mr. Ivan’s absence due to the fact that he is still having to recover. We also managed to meet with the council of elders and we have decided to initiate protocols and procedures to bring the Vampire Race into the modern world. There was some push back at first, but when we discussed being able to find a cure for vampirism, they all jumped at the offer instead of declining it all together.
Once they seemed to all be on board with this idea, everything else just fell into place. We will be able to implement all of the changes in about three weeks, which was ideal, since we also had to have a wedding between the two of us in four weeks.
