  James  I’ve always heard those stories about people who die on the operating table, and they end up outside their bodies, looking at themselves.  Well, that’s what happened to me.  I was floating comfortably, like I was suspended in warm water, and there I was, or at least my body was, looking like something that had been put through a meat grinder. My  head looked kinda funny on my neck, like it wasn't really connected any more.  I wasn’t so much worried about my body though as I was about Julianna.  I felt relief when I heard her call out to me.  At least I knew she was alive.  I wanted to answer her, but my floaty self didn’t seem to have the capacity to speak.  I knew she was hurt, I knew she was scared, but I couldn’t reach her.  I watched everything play like a movie, and felt m
