Marlow drove his second-hand Jetta roaring out of Wisteria Lane and rushed to Regency Hotel like a charging beast.
The rush hour was over and the traffic on the street was less, but there were still quite a lot of cars. Marlow was anxious and he stamped down the accelerator and weaved in and out of traffic at top speed as a fish swam deftly through the undersea coral thickets.
Regency Hotel wasn’t very far away from Wisteria Lane. Though weaving through the traffic, Marlow’s speed remained at above one hundred miles.
As Marlow’s car swayed and overtook a BMW, a Buick SUV driving at normal speed suddenly sped up and rushed towards Marlow’s Jetta like a furious animal.
Marlow gave it a gloomy glance and turned smartly to avoid the Buick SUV and continued driving forward.
