From the wardroom I met Maddie at the parking lot and she was crying. She hugged me tight cursing David and anyone related to him and just like me she didn't want to see Lisa anywhere near me unless she tamed her rowdy ex-boyfriend.
After that lamentation she led me in the front seat, strapped my seat belt and slid into the driver's seat then carefully drove out of the stadium parking lot. She drove like she was carrying fragile goods. Slow. Way too slow than Lisa learning how to drive.
