In the guest room after locking the door I kept pacing and down, knocking some sense into my head. Back there I had lost it and gave in to my anger again. My mind couldn't wrap itself around the fact that we were in contract and she did not belong to me. At the end of the contract she was going to be someone else's and perhaps I forgot that she was doing me a favor and not the other way round. Ignoring the love of her life to be with me and help me fool the entire world. To save my reputation she had to lose what she loved.
And where did that new revelation leave me? Because she said it herself, it felt good like she had really missed him despite the guy breaking her heart, the pieces of her still beat for him somehow. It was hard to explain. But what I knew was this revelation left
