I laid back as I chanted, repeatedly. I felt as if my body was slowly melting away. I wasn’t sure if it was the magic I was using or because of whatever was happening to my body. My bones ached, as fire seared underneath my skin. I felt every last one of the rogues leave our territory, allowing me to breathe a sigh of relief.
