I stand and follow Carrie to sit with her parents. She probably won’t be happy about it. Her father is probably going to try to kill me. Still, it’s better than sitting near that f*****g asshole. How dare he treat Carrie like this.
“Could I join you?” I ask.
Carrie doesn’t say anything, but her dad nods. I grab a chair, but first, I offer him my hand. “I’m Alpha Anthony of SkyClaw. It’s nice to meet you.”
“John,” he says, shaking my offered hand. “This is my wife Sara, and I believe you know our daughter Carrie.”
“It’s nice to meet you,” I smile at her mother. She didn’t tell her parents? He can’t know that I tried to reject his daughter. Not to behave this calmly.
