“What the f**k were you thinking?” Dad growls at the Alpha. He didn’t even knock. Dad just walked right into his office after dinner, slamming the door behind him. “That poor girl couldn’t have done anything to deserve for you to do that.”
Arthur’s jaw tightens as he slowly turns his head. He looks like he’s struggling to control his wolf. I know Dad notices, too, but he’s never been one to back down from, well, anything.
“You’re the goddamn Alpha,” Dad barks out. “You’re supposed to take care of your pack, not ruin the reputation of whoever you decide to that day.”
“She needs to leave,” Arthur finally says. “I’m trying to push her away. She wants to help however she can, and she won’t go with him if she thinks I need her.”
Dad leans down, bracing himself on the desk.
