Ada is mad at me. I can feel it, and while she’s trying not to be angry, she’s losing the battle with herself over it.
“Do you want to talk before we get Katya?” I offer. If she wants to yell at me, it would be best not to have her with us.
She doesn’t answer, but she exits the elevator and walks straight into our home. I guess she’s decided we should get her later. I sigh. I’m not even sure why she’s mad at me.
She walks to her bedroom and slams the heavy door behind her, but she doesn’t lock it. I step inside, unafraid of my mate. She’s sitting on the side of the bed, her leg twitching with anger as she stares out the window.
