Katya’s wolf pounces in the snow with Cora’s. I wish I could shift and join her, but my body can’t handle that.
“Why don’t you play with them, too?” I ask Calvin.
His lips turn up into a small smile before he releases me. He pulls his clothes off and hands them to me before shifting mid-jump off the porch. The snow is accumulating quickly, and it looks like a cloud of smoke as Mace lands in it. I can’t help but smile.
A moment later, another wolf lands in the snow and knocks Cora’s wolf over. It takes me a moment to realize that it’s King Seth rolling around with them.
Molly wraps her arm around me and leans her head into mine. “I’ve worried about her so much. I’m so glad they have each other.”
“Does it take her long to shift back?” I ask.
“I don’t know,” she admits.
