The sun is shining. I’m surrounded by something soft. What? My eyes pop open, and I find myself in the closet, with the door open and the sun shining inside. It’s really real. I close my eyes and inhale slowly. I’m really here.
There was no nightmare last night, and the bond didn’t wake me, pulling me to my mate. He held my hand all night, and it was enough.
I walk to the door but pause as I hear talking.
