*Ada* I’m standing outside of the King’s office nervously. After our wolves mated last night, Calvin told me that Seth wants to meet with me today. He said it was nothing to worry about, but his face definitely looked worried. I barely slept last night, consumed with plenty of worry. I knock on the door, but there’s no answer. His assistant isn’t here, either. I knock again, but still no answer. “Good Morning,” Seth says, walking up behind me. “You beat me down here.” “Sorry,” I say awkwardly. “Why are you nervous?” he asks, handing me a cup of coffee and opening the door.
