My mate came to my pack today. He’s the Alpha at Worm Moon- Barrett. I couldn’t believe it when I saw him, but he didn’t seem happy at first. He said I had to meet him in the woods at night for him to tell me the truth.
I didn’t know what to expect and almost didn’t go. I’m glad I did, though. Barrett has an identical twin- Garrett- and I’m mated to both. I wouldn’t have believed it if they hadn’t both been in the woods to meet me. They look exactly the same, and while their scents are identical to everyone else, I can tell the difference. It’s subtle, but it’s there.
The people in my pack are worried about me and want me to reject Barrett. They said he has intense mood swings, but I now know that’s not the case. There are two of them, but they act as one.
