I’m worried about Ada. She did well today. She caught my signals and flipped me at training, the Alpha ending up on top as she should. She held it together with her sister. She ran off for a moment after, but came back searching the packhouse. If she hadn’t, we wouldn’t have found the wolfsbane.
Ada personally returned each child to their parents, smiling at them and shaking their hands. She then questioned Tuck, the temporary Alpha, about the key and what we found. At dinner, she went around the dining room and met many pack members.
Now- now she’s curled up in the bed and numb. I’ve tried to hold her. I’ve tried to kiss her. She’s not warming up to anything. She’s not relaxing at all.
