*Ada* Dorothy leaves and the guys begin to flood into the room. I can’t do this right now, though. I need time to breathe. I stand, and Calvin immediately stands too, ready to follow me outside. “I just need a moment,” I tell him softly. It’s not that I don’t want him around me. I don’t want ANYONE around me. “Ada,” he says, his voice full of kindness. He’s worried about me. I shake my head. “I’ll be fine. I’ll come back when I’m ready. You guys talk about what you need to.” He’s not happy about it, but he nods before kissing my forehead and letting me leave. I should have known I wouldn’t be alone, though, as Michael follows me out the door. “Is this necessary,” I ask. He nods. “I’ll stay back. I swear.” I turn and continue down the stairs, trying my best to ignore him
