I don’t understand why Michael needs me to help rearrange the training room. I linked Ada, and she said Molly is with her. I can feel happiness through the bond, so I’m going to stay and help him. She needs time to get to know other people, too.
I’m dragging a rack of weights across the damn gym when Michael finally says something. “She let you mark her, too?”
I nod. “Yeah. It was her idea.”
“Less frustrated now?”
I roll my eyes. “It was just the mark,” I explain. “I’m doing fine, though.”
He smiles at me sadly. A physical relationship with your mate is one of the most sacred things to wolves. It’s been difficult not to have that.
We do have that, though, Mace reminds me. It’s different, but she’s trying.
It is enough.
It takes nearly an hour, but we get the
