AVERY’s POV.
It felt like I was in an endless abyss without no one to help. Everywhere was dark and I could only hear his voice. He was telling me to wake up and that he missed me but I couldn’t. I couldn’t wake up no matter how much I tried.
“You miss him, don’t you?” A voice asks behind me and I turn my head to see the moon goddess behind me. She looks so graceful, too graceful for me to behold. I still don’t know why she decided to share part of her powers with me. Was I even fit enough? I open my mouth to answer her question but no words come out, of course I miss him, I miss him like the very air that I breathe.
