I turn off the shower but I remain there for a few more minutes trying to steady my breath. Rather than stay in the ICU, I asked the doctor to let Avery stay in a private room at the hospital with every single equipment she would need. A while ago, the pack healer also came to check on her from Seattle and she assured me that her wolf was fine so whatever happened to her was only medically related. I hate seeing her in that position but the only thing I can do is stay beside her and make sure she gets better. The doctor says the next twenty four hours were crucial for her, I just hope the moon goddess performs a miracle before then.
