It was just before half past noon when I handed a few documents to Ellie that were needed for Elliot's portfolio for the firm' a system . I was ready to head out for the lunch meeting . It was something that I usually did but Elliot was a new client and , once he was officially with us , I would not entertain such informal business proceedings .
