The rest of my day had gotten busy after lunch . There were an influx of clients and emails from other clients requiring our assistance for the smaller , yet time consuming , services . Ellie had been seeing to as much as she could as were Daniel but the final sign off still came to me .
But the end of the day , it was safe to say , that I was exhausted . I wanted nothing more than to be home and run myself a hot bath where I could soak away the tension of the day . It was rather late by the time I had left the office and making myself a meal was something I did not have the brain power to do . I would have to stop and pick up some take out before I got home .
