_Alyssa's POV_ We arrived at the Italian restaurant, a small place tucked away on a quiet street. The exterior was modest with soft lights glowing through the windows. Inside, the smell of garlic, fresh herbs, and baking bread hit me immediately making my stomach rumble with hunger. It had been a while since I had had a decent meal and the scent made me realize just how starved I was. Logan led me through the restaurant, his hand resting on the small of my back. The tables were neatly arranged, each with flickering candles and white linens. The low murmur of conversation filled the air but it wasn’t too loud.
