As soon as Logan left with Fred, I leaned back in my chair, deep in thought. Logan was always surrounded by his Beta, Fred, and his Gamma, Ray. It would be nearly impossible to get close enough to harm him with them always around. Both of them were loyal to him and would never let me near Logan if they sensed something was off. They were always on guard, watching, waiting for any sign of trouble.
And even if I did manage to get Logan alone, there was still another problem: his strength. He was much stronger than me, both physically and as a wolf. His wolf was far more powerful, and I had seen firsthand how quickly he could shift into that form when provoked. I couldn't overpower him, and I couldn’t rely on brute force alone.
