I sat there in the dark room, trying to process everything. My body ached from being tied up for so long, but my mind was spinning even more. Damon and Angela had left me alone after revealing their twisted plan. I couldn't believe it. Logan had a brother, and I had trusted that brother.
Damon betrayed me. He used me, and now Logan was in danger because of my stupidity. My heart pounded in my chest as I thought about how I had fallen into his trap. I had been so sure that Logan was the enemy. I thought he had been the one to hurt me, the one to betray me. But now… now I knew the truth.
