_Alyssa's POV_ I continued following Angela through the city, my heart racing as we drove deeper into the night. The bright city lights faded behind us, replaced by darkened streets and looming trees. I gripped the steering wheel, my knuckles white. Each turn felt like a step deeper into the unknown. After a while, we left the city behind. The paved roads transformed into a rough dirt path. Dust kicked up behind Angela's car as it bounced over the uneven terrain. The trees grew taller and closer together, their shadows swallowing the road. It felt eerie, like a scene out of a horror movie. My gut twisted with anxiety as I pressed on, my instincts screaming at me to turn back. But I couldn't. I had to know what was happening. Finally, Angela pulled over. I parked my car a good distance
