I couldn’t sit still. Everyone was searching, but there was still no sign of Alyssa. The guards had covered the entire pack territory and I had even sent some of them beyond our borders. But nothing. No one had seen her, and no one knew where she had gone.
The frustration was eating me alive. I paced back and forth through the hallways of the pack house, my mind racing. I couldn’t understand it. Where could she have gone? I didn’t know what to do anymore.
Leo was restless inside me, growling and pushing me to keep searching, but where? Where would I even begin? We had checked everywhere. The forest, the riverside, the training grounds. Nothing.
