_Alyssa's POV_ At dinner, my mother and Logan were sitting across from me, chatting excitedly. Their voices filled the room with talk of engagement plans and wedding details. My mother looked thrilled, her eyes bright as she smiled at Logan. He was just as eager, leaning in toward her as they discussed every little detail. “We will have the entire packhouse decorated with white lilies,” Logan said, glancing at me for a reaction. “Since they are Alyssa’s favorite.” “That’s perfect!” my mother exclaimed, clapping her hands together. “White lilies everywhere—it’ll look stunning.
