"Not again" I groan. "Just answer it Ledger, it might be an emergency." Hannah says after my phone rings for the 3rd time. I thought after the first time not answering that the point would be made. I am not going to answer, but maybe she is right and it is an emergency. I look at the time on the clock on her desk. It is 3:33am. The devil's hour. This can't be good. I think back to when Maddie and I would watch scary movies at night even after mom told us we couldn't and we would be so afraid. We couldn't fall asleep. Any little noise and we would be in tears. We learned all about the devil's hour and how nothing good comes of it and my stomach sinks. This is bad. Who calls in the middle of the night if it is not an emergency? Maybe it is a prank.
