Graduation Day
I sit staring at myself in my mirror nervous as hell that today is my graduation day. Today is the day that I journey into a new adventure that is my future. The past year has gone by so fast. I remember sitting with Elijah telling him how fast it was going to go just a couple of months ago.
I replayed and replayed the words he said in my head day after day. That was his goodbye to me. His final move in the story of our love. I was heartbroken yet again, but I didn't allow myself to dwell in it. I did not blame him or was I even angry with him. I didn't expect him to hold out forever for my return and I understood.
