Emilia
Shoving Goose in Lyssa's direction, I had to step into, I think Lyssa called her, Brooklyn's path, and stop her from following the two. The two needed to work out whatever they had going on between them, which, to be honest, stings a little. I have had a crush on Goose since high school. I also know Goose has never seen me as anything other than a little sister, and I never had a chance with him. That doesn't change the fact that I may be a little jealous of my friend for being with him. At the same time, if the two did end up together, I would be happy for them. They would be amazing together. So here I was blocking this woman from Lyssa's past from bothering the two.
"Excuse you, whoever you are."
Brooklyn tried to move around me, and I stepped into her path again. In doing so, I was forced to take a couple of steps back. This woman was surprisingly fast on those heels. It was a wonder she didn't break her ankles and was able to walk in them. I suppose that if the girls from the night club can dance in heels just as tall, one could get used to walking in them normally.
"Um, yes, hello. Names Emilia, and I think you should stay out here with me at least for now. Those two have some things to talk about, and it looked to me like Lyssa didn't really want to talk to you."
Scoffing, she tried again to go around me, again forcing me to take a step back as I blocked her path again. This gained me a death glare as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Look, I don't really care who you are. I came here to see my sister and talk to her, and you wouldn't believe what I have gone through even to get this far. So I don't really care what you think, nor do I give a s**t what it looked like to you, but I am not leaving here until I talk to Lyssa."
"Alright, well, you aren't going to talk to her right now. So why don't you tell me where you are staying, and I will pass that on to Lyssa, and if she wants to talk to you, she can."
Clinching her jaw closed, she glared at me. She was plotting something, and I'm sure it was her way of getting around me. We stood in silence for a good five minutes before her opening presented itself. My attention was pulled away from her for all of thirty seconds as two motorcycles pulled into my driveway. One belongs to D, Goose's brother, and the other to Finch, my brother. Those thirty seconds of me checking to see who was pulling into my driveway and making sure it wasn't Bug and one of his friends to finish his fight with Goose was all the time Brooklyn needed. She was around me and around the house so damn fast.
Cursing, I ran after her, getting to her just as she started pounding on Lyssa's front door with one hand while the other hand twisted the doorknob over and over. Goose must have locked the door behind him as he followed Lyssa inside, and from the sounds of it, that was a good thing. There was a window open somewhere, and there was no mistaking the sounds coming from inside her apartment; the two of them must have worked out whatever issue they had and were making up with each other.
