LAVENDER'S POV
After my conversation with Daisy, we decided to continue her plan of making something here in the kitchen. And in the end, after an endless picking of what to make while browsing the internet, Daisy decided to make a pie.
We followed everything though we made quite a mess in the kitchen as Daisy said that she had not really touched anything in their kitchen as she said. I was laughing all the time. Daisy not wanting me to help her is a big mistake so I kind of help although she still moved me to the sink just to wash anything she already used.
I saw the determination in Daisy as she moves gracefully around the kitchen. Her wanting to create something while she's still fine tugs something in my heart. She really an adorable and kind person. The type of woman that wasn't hard to love if only tried to know her better.
I sighed and shook my head as I realized what I'm thinking. Oh, f**k. I should not think like this towards her, towards Daisy. Even if she said that she wants me to be honest, I want to hide the part of myself as bisexual because just like what I had achieved for the years that only my parents and Jada know about my s****l orientation, my life is peaceful. No people to look at me weirdly. No one to bully or do s**t to me.
Everything was perfect. Only that because of what happened last night, I was kind of nervous. Now that something happened between Daisy's brother--- Damon, and me.
It took almost an hour and a half of playing and laughing at the mess she has done on the kitchen countertop until she finished decorating her first pie and it was done. Daisy has made a double-crust fruit pie herself successfully, a cast-iron cherry-berry peach pie to be exact.
I was kind of feeling proud as I watch her smiling widely while she holds the cast iron pan's handle in both of her hands and put it down to the countertop. After placing down the pan on the countertop, I clapped my hands, feeling happy and proud of her while watching her wore off the gloves she wore not to get a burn or scald by the hot cast iron pan.
"Wow..." I said as I slightly moved myself up from the stool I'm sitting on and take a peek at the double-crust fruit pie she has made. "You know, for a first-timer, you did great. It smells good already," I said, smiling at her.
"Oh, don't flatter me. It may have a good smell but we haven't tasted it yet, which I fear this double-crust fruit pie is a failure. What if it tastes bad?" she said, looking nervous that made me chuckle a bit while shaking my head. "Oh, god. I don't even know if I have put the right amount of salt while mixing all the ingredients earlier. What if it ended up tasting salty?"
"Well, we will find out once it's cool, for now." I stood up from the stool and walked towards Daisy. "Do you want to do anything? Watching movies or television series is quite relaxing," I said but Daisy shakes her head that made my forehead creased.
"Nah, I'm not in the mood to watch anything. Watching is one of the things I've gotten bored to do when Damon locked me up in here," Daisy said with a bored expression though I felt embarrassed.
How can I forget? She already said that things that she doesn't want to waste her time most of the time. Watching, reading, even her thing for arts. Daisy already said that she wanted to try something new and eventually, being in the kitchen and baking a double-crust pie.
"Oh, yeah. Sorry. So..." I trailed off as I put both of my hands in the pockets of my jeans. "What do you want to do while waiting for the pie?"
"Well..." Daisy thinks for a second before she suddenly smiles.
A smile that is kind of looking malicious that made me somehow feel creepy so I gulped before talking. "W-what are y-you thinking? You are kind of creeping me out with that smile."
"I have an idea," she said as she moves her eyebrow up and down while smiling. "And you can't say no, Lavender," Daisy said before grabbing my hands, making my eyes wide.
"What the heck are you planning, Daisy?" I asked, feeling nervous as she continues to dragged me while the malicious smile was still plastered on her face.
Oh, s**t! Even if I'm feeling my heart race again for Daisy holding my hand, I'm more nervous and confused about what she is planning to do. I really don't like the way she's smiling at me like now, gone the genuine smile she usually shows.
"You can't say no, Lavender. Or else, I'll b***h the hell out of you for one week," she said, making me brushed my palm on my face.
Fuck! That threat. I keep myself silent as she continues to drag me. We climbed up the stairs and in seconds passed before we reached the door of her room. She quickly opened her double panel door and dragged me in before pushing me to sit in her bed.
"Stay there. I'm going to get something," she said before turning her back on me and entered her walk-in closet.
While waiting on Daisy, her bedroom got my attention. Just like her name is a flower, her room has a touch of floral. Her room has a refreshing atmosphere so I kind of love it.
Daisy's footsteps got my attention and when I look at her, my eyes widen when I realized what was she was holding in her left hand.
"Oh, no, no..."
"Yes..." Daisy said as she walked closer to me. "You're going to wear this. We are going to swim."
I shake my head constantly. "No, no, no. I'm not going to wear that!"
There's no way in hell I'm going to wear what she wanted me to wear. Never!
