"Wait... That's what Violet said?" Alec asked.
I nodded.
I promised Violet not to say anything to Setson. I never made promises about Alec. And I need Alec if I'm going to find answers.
So, I told him everything. Well, everything short of Niall. I trust Alec, but Niall's safety comes first. I don't know if Alec would accidentally let things slip to the person who threatened Violet. I don't want to risk it.
We need to find out the truth first. Then we can talk about Niall. And god do I hope that that kid is Setson's.
I don't know what happened back then, but now that I know Setson was involved... After what Violet said about her memories of that night... Looking at Niall now... The kid really looks just like Sets
