Leaning back in my chair, I stared at the phone.
Over the last two weeks, Alpha Sam and I have been working alongside each other to deal with all the stuff that has been happening with my pack. He had Gwen come back to spend some time here, but we kept her being here a secret. I didn’t want anyone to know, especially Chloe and her mother.
We went over everything until the one conversation I had avoided came up—David, Mia’s father, and Emma’s mother. After the outburst in the office with Aidan, I knew I had to do something.
Being my beta and after everything he did, I still helped him. He was once my friend, even if I wanted to kill him for what he did, I knew I had to make him see all the s**t he had done.
Placing him in rehab was hard, he fought with me all the way.
