My father had called all the pack members outside the hall. He wanted to tell everyone whatever it was before we all had food.
A mind link went out to all, even Chloe, but she wasn’t there.
Where the hell was she?
I opened a mind link to my friends and asked them. “Has anyone seen Chloe since we took Mia and her pack to their rooms?” The mere mention of Mia and her pack, where was her pack now? She was once ours, but that now feels like a distant memory.
Shaking my thoughts away when I heard a chorus of no coming from the link. No one had seen her since outside the pack house when the Dark Forest pack had arrived.
I moved toward where my father was standing but kept my eyes scanning the area to see if she was in the back.
“Can I have everyone’s attention?” my father shout
