MIA My mind raced over what he had said. There was no way I could talk to him, not yet. I needed to regroup and get my head on straight before I dealt with him. There was too much to say. Lyla let out a growl, feeling the same as I did. She had moved closer and let out a huff, till she told me she could sense his wolf close by, but he didn’t come to the surface. “Probably thinking like his human,” she grumbled, not moving back. She kept moving closer. She needed to stop before they would see her. “Thinking is not a good thing for the human or the wolf, especially this one.” It took everything in me not to laugh at that statement.
