These last two weeks have been a whirlwind for our pack.
After my run with Darren and Lee, we stayed by the cabin for a while. I stayed by the trees, while they searched the grounds but they came up with the same conclusion as I did, and didn’t find anything new.
We headed back to the pack house. That night, I was restless and so was Jake. We were wondering what Chloe and her mother would have with rogues. They were sly as they come and never did anything for anyone unless it benefited them.
The next morning, I went back to my father’s office with Darren and Lee. My father came up with a plan, which I wasn’t too thrilled with, since I had to act like I was completely in love with someone who I was starting to hate—Chloe.
