Mum led the way to the forest, while Sasha’s wolf and I walked behind her. We had to pass the entrance of the pack house and to the side where Alpha Robert was waiting.
His eyes came towards us, and he sighed, but a small smile played on his lips. “Thank you, Mia, for being there,” he said, and then glanced at Sasha’s wolf, before he spoke again. “And thanks for not killing her. I know that must have been hard for you with everything she had done to your friend.”
Sasha’s wolf huffed, then closed her eyes and was clearly talking to Sasha.
