Two weeks have flown by, and we are not even close to knowing what Chloe and Josphine are up to.
Over the last few days, I have been working within the office and keeping my head down. All pack members believe I have been given more pack work to do, which seems to be a good enough answer, especially to Chloe.
Chloe came back the next day after her meeting with her mother and the guy, all smiles. She smelt differently. Ever since then, I have been keeping her at a distance. She only confronted me when she saw Lee and me talking outside my dad’s office and when she asked what we were doing, I only said I had been given more work for the pack and that my father was considering me taking over soon.
