MIA There was a knock at the door, which pulled me from my thoughts and my wolf. I didn’t even know how long I had been in the shower, but I knew I needed it. Knocking the water off, I climbed out of the shower and dried off with the towel from behind the door. After dropping the towel on the floor, my eyes drifted to the mirror, a full-length mirror. It was something I hadn’t done in a long time—see myself fully. My eyes took in my reflection and took in what was left on my body. Scars still covered me, but some were gone with the help of Lyla’s healing. It took longer because of how weak she was back then, but after resting and training, we were getting back to what was once ours. While looking in the mirror, I soon realized Lyla was close to the surface since my eyes had changed.
