It didn’t take too long to get to the office. Pressing my hand into a fist, I knocked on the door till I heard ‘Come in.’
Taking a breath to calm my nerves, I pushed open the door and head inside.
Alpha Robert wasn’t the only one here—Aidan was there, too.

Turning slightly to give my old friend a look, “Alpha Robert, what’s wrong? Did something happen?”
I moved further into the office till I got to the seat next to Aidan, while I kept my eyes solely on Alpha Robert.
Alpha Robert didn’t say anything, only stared at me till his eyes softened, but there was a lot more there behind them.
What the hell was going on?
Alpha Robert took a breath and then asked. “Does Alpha Sam or Luna Sadie know Josephine or Chloe know a witch?”
