MIA
Light shimmered into the room, making me groan. I moved onto my back and stared at the ceiling.
Mum left an hour after coming here. We talked a little about what I wanted, which I was still unsure, but I knew I didn’t want to see Aidan. I wanted nothing to do with him.
Mum suggested taking a few days to get used to being back in the pack. Mainly coming out to see her and the others, staying wherever they were. Even staying locked in the room when I felt uncomfortable, which now seemed like a good idea.
Lyra moved in my head, which made me look back at her. She let out a yawn, before she stared at me. “Don’t overthink about it. We don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do and if it means staying here for a few days to get your bearings, then so be it.”
