"We're sorry for your loss. I'm doing everything to hunt those b@stards down," Ace declared firmly, he was determined to avenge his fallen warriors.
"I know you will, Alpha. My daughter was happy serving under your leadership," the older woman said, tears now streaming down her face.
"I'm sorry for your loss, Ma'am," Kate said while Ace held her hand. She empathized with the woman in front of her. She knew how much it hurt losing a child. It will never be easy.
"Thank you, Luna," the older woman replied. "It's just sad that we had to meet in these circumstances. If Andrea were still alive, she would have been truly delighted to see you," she added. K
